Reviving the Legendary Village Bar
The Pöstlikeller has been brought back to life, paying homage to the iconic Pontresina cellar bar once housed in the former Hotel Post—rebuilt in the very same spot but with a fresh twist for today’s era.
While much has changed, the spirit remains the same. The Pöstlikeller invites a new generation of young people and the young at heart to enjoy good music, a drink, and the lively atmosphere of an evening out.
The Pöstlikeller serves as a dynamic event and party space, equipped with all the necessary amenities. It can host a variety of functions, including cinema screenings, TV and public viewings, events, concerts, DJ nights, and game nights. Alongside a fully equipped bar, the venue also features a galley kitchen for simple dishes, and a dedicated smokers’ room.

The furnishings are simple and flexible, allowing the space to accommodate a variety of events and uses.
The venue’s infrastructure is available for private rental by guests and local residents, making it ideal for parties and special events.
From Thursday to Saturday, the Pöstlikeller operates as a night bar under Hotel Maistra, featuring a rotating lineup of events, also open to the public. Additionally, eight to ten times a year, the Pöstlikeller is run by the local youth association, Giupo (Giuventüna Pontresina), which curates its own program of music and events.
