MINDFUL RUNNING COMBINES THE BENEFICIAL ASPECTS OF RUNNING WITH THE PRACTICE OF MINDFULNESS, OFFERING A HOLISTIC EXPERIENCE FOR BODY AND MIND. DISCOVER HOW MINDFUL RUNNING BECOMES A TOOL FOR FINDING CALMNESS, JOIE DE VIVRE AND INNER BALANCE - STEP BY STEP.
This 3-hour course with qualified sports scientist and personal trainer Anne-Marie Flammersfeld will show you how mindful running can not only improve your physical fitness, but also enhance your mental well-being. It consists of a theoretical and a practical session, which together teach the basics of mindful running and make them tangible. In the theoretical session, you will learn what mindful running is all about: it's not just about counting kilometers or measuring time, but about consciously experiencing the moment.
The focus is on your breath, the rhythm of your steps and your surroundings. You will learn how to direct your attention, let go of distracting thoughts and deal more effectively with stress in everyday life. You will also be given valuable tips from the fields of training science and sports psychology on running technique and physical awareness. In the practical session, we put what we have learned directly into practice. We run together at a comfortable pace and integrate conscious breathing, mindfulness exercises and a connection to nature. We focus on our own bodies and consciously perceive movement.

- Introduction to mindful running: Theoretical foundations for combining mindfulness and running, with a focus on breathing, body awareness and stress management.
- Running technique and body awareness: Tips on correct running technique and training the conscious perception of movements and physical cues.
- Practical session in nature: Running together at a relaxed pace, integrating mindfulness exercises, conscious breathing and experiencing nature.
- Stress reduction and slowing down: Application of mindfulness methods for everyday life, for calmness, inner balance and mental strength.
