According to research, most people go through life without a pronounced awareness of the positive qualities they possess. This is actually unbelievable, and of course a great pity, because it means that a lot of positive potential is lying fallow. As a result, people develop less, negative emotions and views (also in our society) have an easier time! Most people learn from an early age to focus on what is inadequate, does not fit or is even flawed. 

In this course you will get to know your character strengths and cultivate them mindfully! MBSP is THE mindfulness-based strengths and development course and was developed by Dr. Ryan M. Niemiec, renowned psychologist, bestselling author and Educational Director of the world-leading “VIA Institute on Character” 2015. Scientific studies confirm that MBSP has an effectiveness comparable to the world-renowned MBSR course and also has positive effects on satisfaction and work performance. The innovative, evidence-based program helps you to become aware of your diverse character strengths (e.g. curiosity, kindness, foresight, bravery, humour, confidence, social intelligence, leadership skills, etc.) and to use them sustainably in your private and working life. 

It supports you in strengthening your positive emotions, commitment, sense of purpose and personal goal achievement, developing positive relationships and recognizing and promoting the strengths of those around you.

Course content: 

  • Using mindful strengths practice to promote sustainable well-being and resilience and thus also performance, health and satisfaction  
  • Becoming aware of and promoting what is good, beautiful and strong in you.
  • Recognizing and coherently addressing the strengths in others
  • Developing a mutually stimulating mindfulness and strengths practice
  • Strengthening positive emotions, commitment, the development of positive relationships, meaning and personal goal achievement

The course is aimed at anyone who wants to strengthen their well-being and resilience in the long term, strive for positive self-leadership and/or leadership and benefit from this in their private and working life.
