Nature, warmth, coolness, water, fire, rock, air and earth are the elements in the Maistra Spa.

A space flooded with light, mysterious and sensually beautiful. The spa spans two floors, centered around a cloister that is open to the sky. Within this central space, guests can enjoy an atrium with an open fire, a warm-water pool with massage jets, a bio sauna and a Finnish sauna, a shimmering blue-black basalt steam bath, and a relaxation room lined in Swiss stone pine and featuring a sun deck.

A fully equipped yoga and fitness room complete the Maistra Spa world. In the treatment rooms we offer massages, body treatments by [comfort zone], shiatsu, along with manicures and pedicures. Yoga lessons can be booked in classes or privately.

Outdoor Relaxation Pool

Immersed in warm water yet out in the open air – relax in our outdoor relaxation pool, lie on the bubble lounger and watch the sky and mountains through the round opening above the cloister.

Finnish Sauna (85°C) & Bio Sauna (60°C)

The high temperature of the sauna and the soothing scent of plants have a relaxing effect and strengthen the immune system.

Basalt steam bath (42°C, 100% humidity)

The steam bath, designed by artist Reto Müller, is entirely clad in basalt tiles. The unique material of solidified, shimmering blue-black lava rock and the overall artistic concept make each visit to the steam bath a unique experience.

Atrium

A space extending over two floors, flooded with light and featuring an open fire, where cozy seating invites you to linger. The pink-red shimmering marble is a sedimentary rock from the quarry in Arzo (TI).

Cloister

Breathe in the fresh Engadine mountain air in the cloister that is open to the sky, watch the snowflakes or simply observe the sky. This meditative space is the centerpiece of the Maistra, where the planning of the hotel began.

Relaxation Room

The relaxation room, which is entirely lined in Engadine Swiss stone pine, provides the perfect space for guests to relax. Swiss stone pine wood is said to have a calming effect and a fragrance that creates a sense coziness. Tea and water are available.

Fitness & Weight Rooms

Our fitness room is equipped with the latest Technogym machines and a selection of weights. Right next to the fitness room is a spacious gymnastics room. Equipped with gym mats, resistance bands, skipping ropes, slam balls, etc. The ultimate space for guests’ fitness training.

Guests can also follow the fitness videos – for various levels of fitness – by qualified sports scientist and personal trainer Anne-Marie Flammersfeld, free of charge. The offer is rounded off by a Kinesis device for dynamic training.
