It’s well-known that unhealthy habits like chronic stress, lack of exercise, poor diet, and an imbalance between effort and recovery can contribute to the development and persistence of illnesses. During the Mind Body Medicine Basic Week, we introduce you to a scientifically well-researched and practically tested concept that aims to strengthen your resources and promote a healthy lifestyle through the interaction of body, mind, and spirit. With pillars such as exercise, relaxation, breathing, nutrition, and self-help measures, you will learn to handle yourself, your environment, and the world around you more mindfully. You’ll receive many tools for everyday life, whether through more attentive perception, new courses of action, or decision-making processes in your personal or professional life.

Nestled in the beautiful nature of the Engadin, we offer you a comprehensive and scientifically proven program where you can identify and strengthen your own health resources using the Temple of Health and its pillars. The days provide a balanced mix of group and individual sessions, with various offerings for a mindful lifestyle, fresh, wholesome, and immune-boosting nutrition, indoor and outdoor physical activities, as well as simple relaxation techniques and breathing exercises to enhance self-regulation. The focus for each participant is on the personal development of their health-promoting habits. With our interdisciplinary team from the fields of health psychology, sports, and nutritional sciences, you will be able to sustainably strengthen your health resources both individually and in groups, develop a self-determined and balanced lifestyle, and apply it in your daily life later on.

Course Content:

The concept of Mind Body Medicine and proven scientific approaches to behavior change. Additionally, many theoretical inputs and practical exercises in the following areas:

  • Movement: e.g., forest bathing, yoga, strength training, interval jogging, exercises for everyday life (indoor, outdoor, office)
  • Relaxation: e.g., mini-breaks in everyday life combined with various relaxation techniques, questioning techniques, and creativity
  • Breathing: e.g., breath awareness, breath regulation, breathing exercises
  • Nutrition: e.g., immune-boosting, wholesome nutrition in theory and practice, with opportunities to cook, taste, and experiment
  • Naturopathic self-help strategies: e.g., cold water stimuli according to Kneipp to reduce susceptibility to infections and enhance psychological stability
  • Individual coaching sessions on all topics

Services included

The course package includes the following services:
